Troubleshooting if Excel Add-in not working

If Excel Add-in is not working

Please check and confirm that you have an active Microsoft 365 subscription and you have logged into your Excel using that subscription

Windows Desktop


You should be able to see your Microsoft 365 subscription on your Excel when you click on Account

Mac Desktop


You should be able to see a Microsoft 365 license on your Excel for Mac

Excel on Web

If your Excel is not working on a browser, then most often it is a fire-wall issue. Please try logging in using your browser on a personal laptop or iPad (which is outside your firewall) to confirm whether this is indeed the case
